Alexander Scholz
Director, Tumor Targeted Killing Gilead Sciences
Alexander Scholz is Director, Directed Tumor Killing at Gilead Sciences, where he leads efforts to advance innovative antibody-based therapeutics for cancer treatment. An experienced drug discovery scientist and research leader, he has extensive expertise in tumor immunology, antibody engineering, ADC development, bispecific antibodies, and translational oncology. Prior to joining Gilead, Alexander held scientific leadership roles at Atreca, where he led immunology, cell biology, and translational science teams and advanced multiple therapeutic antibody programs toward IND submission. He previously conducted research at Stanford University and the Edinger Institute in Germany, focusing on tumor immunity and cancer biology. Alexander has built a distinguished career translating cutting-edge immuno-oncology science into novel therapeutics for patients with cancer.
