Hua Yang
Chief Scientific Officer Pharmaron
Dr. Hua Yang is Chief Scientific Officer at Pharmaron, where he has led the expansion and integration of the company’s global R&D capabilities since joining in 2007. With deep expertise in medicinal chemistry and drug discovery, he has played a pivotal role in building Pharmaron’s end-to-end service platform, supporting the development of small molecules, biologics, and advanced therapies. Prior to Pharmaron, Dr. Yang spent more than a decade at AstraZeneca, contributing to multiple drug discovery programs. He holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from The University of Manchester and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Montreal. He is also a co-author and co-inventor of numerous scientific publications and patents.
