Marlene Hennessy

Marlene Hennessy is a Principal Scientist at Exelixis with more than 15 years of experience in preclinical oncology and drug discovery research. Her expertise spans immuno-oncology, translational pharmacology, in vivo model development, mechanism-of-action studies, and the preclinical evaluation of novel cancer therapeutics. At Exelixis, she contributes to the advancement of next-generation oncology programs, including ADCs, supporting the design and characterization of innovative targeted therapies. Prior to joining Exelixis, Marlene held scientific positions at Nektar Therapeutics and Roche, where she worked across multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, inflammation, pain, and autoimmune diseases. She is recognized for her deep expertise in preclinical pharmacology and translational cancer research.
