Nori Ikemoto is Senior Director, Process R&D at Porton Pharma Solutions’ J-STAR Research division, bringing more than three decades of experience in synthetic organic chemistry, process development, and drug manufacturing. His career spans research roles at leading institutions including MIT, Harvard University, Columbia University, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Merck & Co., where he contributed to the development of multiple clinical and commercial drug candidates. Nori has extensive expertise in process chemistry, biocatalysis, bioconjugation, and scale-up manufacturing, and is recognized for mentoring scientific teams and advancing innovative solutions that accelerate the development of next-generation therapeutics.
